KWON students in second, third, and fourth grades are now taking their research on water cycles, simple machines, and plants (respectively) and creating ebooks together. Students are using Puppet Pals and StoryKit to create their ebooks using pictures, drawings, and cartoon characters. When students are done, the stories will be emailed to their teachers so ask a Kumu if you would like to see your student's work!
Next week, KWON will be hosting its spring book fair from Monday, April 20-Friday, April 24. Each class, grades K-6 will stop at the book fair some time during the week to create a student wish list. Parents and staff can stop by any time before or after school to purchase books for your home or for your child's classroom. We will still have Muffins with Moms on Monday Morning, Donuts with Dads Tuesday morning, and Goodies with Grandparents Wednesday morning. Hope to see you there!
